Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will participate in the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, scheduled to take place on November 9-10 in Sochi. This was announced by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova during a briefing.
“On November 9-10, the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum will be held at the 'Sirius' University in Sochi,” Zakharova stated. She noted that the event will see the participation of the foreign ministers of Russia and African nations, as well as the leadership of the African Union Commission and major continental integration organizations.
During the meeting, a broad range of key topics related to Russia-Africa relations will be discussed, including security, trade relations, investments, agricultural industrialization, mining development, education, healthcare, and public health safety.
