On February 19, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with Ayman Al Safadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan.
According to Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, the Jordanian Minister will be on a working visit to the Russian capital on February 18-19.
"On February 18-19, Ayman Al Safadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, will be in Moscow on a working visit. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with him on February 19," the diplomat said.
According to Zakharova, there will be an exchange of views on topical issues on the international and regional agenda, focusing on the situation in the Middle East.
"Emphasis will be put on the Syria settlement in the context of resolving the urgent humanitarian issues and the Palestine-Israel situation," she added.
