Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is scheduled to visit Bangladesh in the near future. This announcement was made by Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko during a discussion at the Valdai International Discussion Club.
"We are flying tomorrow to another event in this region - the East Asian Summit in Indonesia, Jakarta, where Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov will lead our delegation. Afterward, our journey will continue to Delhi for the G20 summit, and along the way, we will make a historic first visit to Bangladesh, at least for the minister," the diplomat announced.
"Indeed, we have significant events and challenges ahead of us, but we are well-prepared to handle them successfully. Particularly, we have much to offer to Asia, and Asia, in turn, has much to offer us," Rudenko emphasized.
