Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's security will be enhanced due to threats against him resulting from his pro-Palestinian stance. This information was reported by the Bernama news agency.
"The prime minister's security is our foremost concern," Chief Inspector of Police Tan Sri Razarudin conveyed to the agency. Law enforcement agencies have provided assurance that the prime minister's protection will be further fortified.
Earlier, at a pro-Palestinian rally, Ibrahim addressed the threats he faced due to his support for the Palestinian people. He stated, "Despite the challenges and threats, I want to convey to the audience that Malaysia will not halt its efforts at this stage. We will persist in advocating for Palestinian freedom and condemning aggression without hesitation," the prime minister shared on the social networking platform X (formerly Twitter).
