Today, Foreign Minister of the Libyan National Accord Government Mohammed Taha Siala will arrive in Moscow. RIA Novosti reports about this citing Libyan Foreign Ministry.
“The Foreign Minister will go to Moscow with an official visit, which will last several days, during which he will meet with a number of Russian Officials to discuss the current situation and military escalation in the capital Tripoli”, the agency declared.
It is known, that after the overthrow and murder of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011, diarchy reigns in Libya. The parliament elected by the people sits in the east, and in the west, in the capital Tripoli, a Government of National Accord formed with the support of the UN and the European Union, headed by Fayez Sarraj.
