Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko said that she has delivered to the President of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune a message from Russian President Vladimir Putin, which includes an invitation to visit Russia.
A delegation of the FC, headed by Matviyenko, is on an official visit to Algeria from March 15 to 17.
"I delivered to the president of Algeria a message of the Russian president, it is quite substantive, in this message the Russian president invited the president of Algeria to pay an official visit to Russia, and also invited him to participate in the second Russia-Africa summit," Matviyenko told reporters after the meeting with Tebboune.
