A delegation from Mauritania, led by Prime Minister Mohamed Ould Bilal, has arrived in St. Petersburg to attend the Russia-Africa summit. The high-ranking delegation's flight landed at Pulkovo airport, TASS reports.
Russia and Mauritania have been fostering friendly relations and engaging in dialogues to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in various sectors, including trade, economics, and humanitarian endeavors. In February of the current year, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov visited Mauritania as part of his Africa tour, further underscoring the importance of the diplomatic ties between the two nations. Mauritania is also a member of the of Arab League.
