So far, approximately 1,400 foreigners have been evacuated from the Palestinian Gaza Strip to Egyptian territory through the land crossing at Rafah, as reported by the news portal Al-Youm as-Sabia. The portal indicates that 329 individuals with foreign citizenship arrived in Egypt from Gaza in the last day. These evacuees represent 60 different countries.
On November 6, 29 Palestinians were brought to the Rafah crossing for further organization for medical treatment in Egyptian hospitals. This group consisted of eight wounded individuals, nine cancer patients, and 12 accompanying persons. They were transported to hospitals in the towns of Sheikh Zuweid and Arish in the Sinai Peninsula. Al-Youm as-Sabia also reported that approximately 100 wounded and seriously ill Palestinians from the Gaza Strip are currently receiving treatment in these hospitals, as well as in medical facilities in the Egyptian cities of Ismailia, Port Said, and Cairo.
