At least 45 Palestinians have been injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers in the village of Burqa, northwest of the West Bank city of Nablus, Al Jazeera reported on Tuesday, citing data from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
According to the channel, the Israeli military used tear gas. Some 35 of the injured allegedly showed signs of suffocation.
The Palestinian newspaper Al-Quds reported that the clashes broke out on Tuesday after the Israeli army closed the roads to Burqa and some of the roads near the village.
