According to them, the exchange of fire between representatives of the radical movement Taliban (banned in the Russian Federation) that seized power in Afghanistan and Pakistani border guards started in the early morning and is continuing up to this moment. The reason for the conflict is not yet known.

On its part, Pakistan's newspaper Dawn reported on Monday that the clashes were initiated by the Afghan side. No information about the casualties is given yet.

On Sunday the Afghan TOLONews reported that the Taliban decided to suspend traffic through the Torkham checkpoint because the Pakistani side has not fulfilled its obligations. The Taliban did not specify what commitments they were referring to.
