Media: Hospital in Northern Gaza Runs Out of Food

15 November

The Kamal Adwan Medical Center, located in the northern Gaza Strip, is unable to provide food for its staff and patients, according to Qatar's Al Jazeera, citing the hospital's director, Husam Abu Safia.

Abu Safia stated that the hospital “can no longer offer even a single meal to patients or provide food for medical workers who are working around the clock.” He added that the facility is receiving a steady influx of children and adults suffering from malnutrition and dehydration, but the hospital has “extremely limited supplies of food and medicine.”

The hospital director also revealed that after airstrikes, the hospital frequently receives calls from civilians trapped under rubble. “Sadly, by the next day, their voices fade, and they are counted among the dead,” Abu Safia said.

Earlier reports indicated that due to actions by the Israeli army, the Kamal Adwan hospital was left without ambulances for emergency teams. Limited medical supplies have further hindered the facility’s ability to treat patients.
