The Israel Defense Forces are conducting intense artillery shelling in the area west of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, according to Al Jazeera.
Additionally, the channel reports that the assault on the town of Husan, west of Bethlehem in the West Bank, continues. Sources also claim that during a raid in Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, over 40 young Palestinians were arrested by Israeli forces.
According to multiple sources cited by the channel, since the escalation of the conflict on October 7 last year, Israeli forces have detained over 9,300 Palestinians. More than 3,000 of them are being held without charges.
