A plane from Chechnya with humanitarian aid for earthquake victims in Syria landed Friday at the international airport in Latakia in the west of the Arab republic. SANA, the Syrian news agency, reported.
According to its information, the plane delivered 40 tons of food to Latakia. Other details were not provided.
On March 7, Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov said that the Akhmad-Khadzhi Kadyrov Regional Public Foundation will allocate funds to acquire housing for 9,000 families from Syria, who lost their homes as a result of the earthquake.
