Egypt has turned down proposals to open humanitarian corridors for evacuating civilians in the Gaza Strip, according to Reuters, citing sources within the Egyptian security services.
During discussions in Cairo regarding humanitarian assistance for Gaza residents involving representatives from the United States and other countries, plans for creating safe routes for refugees leaving the enclave were reportedly presented. However, the Egyptian leadership declined these proposals.
