The number of Palestinians arrested by Israel since October 7 in the West Bank and East Jerusalem has reached 3.2 thousand people, as reported by Al Jazeera TV channel, citing data from the report of the Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Former Prisoners.
Among those detained, 41 were journalists, and according to the commission, 29 media workers are still in detention. In the occupied territories, the number of Palestinians arrested is reported to be 7,000 more than those detained. The commission's report indicates that there are over 200 children and approximately 80 women among the detainees, along with hundreds of individuals who are sick or injured and in need of medical care.
