Israeli army soldiers reportedly fired upon Palestinians in the town of Beit Hanoun in the northeastern Gaza Strip, as stated by Al Mayadeen.
After the initiation of the humanitarian truce in the enclave, residents ventured into the streets to assess the extent of the destruction. The Israeli military, as highlighted by the channel, issued threats of weapon use if anyone approached their stationed forces in the area. Allegedly, gunfire occurred in one of the city's neighborhoods, but no casualties or injuries were reported.
On November 22, the Palestinian radical movement Hamas reported reaching a four-day agreement with Israel, facilitated by Egypt and Qatar, regarding a humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip. The terms included the release of 50 women, children, and teenagers under the age of 19 from the enclave in exchange for the release of 150 women, children, and teenagers under the age of 19 from Israeli prisons. The truce in the Gaza Strip took effect on Friday at 07:00 local time (08:00 Moscow time), according to Arab media reports.
