At least six people have been reported killed, and several others injured, due to shelling by Israeli troops on residential houses in the central part of the Gaza Strip. Al Jazeera conveyed this information, stating that the casualties occurred when Israeli shells struck two residential houses in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the center of the Palestinian enclave.
According to the channel, residents are currently clearing debris from the buildings in the hopes of finding survivors, but some parts of the structures are engulfed in flames.
