At least five Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike on the Tulkarm refugee camp in the West Bank, according to reports from the Palestinian agency WAFA, citing local sources.
Another UAV reportedly fired two missiles toward a residential building, resulting in at least three young people being wounded. Israeli military forces also surrounded Thabet State Hospital in Tulkarm, impeding ambulances attempting to transport the wounded to the medical facility.
The agency reported that Israel Defense Forces soldiers entered Tulkarm on Wednesday night from the western side and declared the town a combat zone. The Lebanese TV channel Al Mayadeen had earlier claimed that at least four Palestinians were killed in an Israeli military strike on the Tulkarm refugee camp, with several others wounded.
