Israeli Air Force drones attacked southern Lebanon in response to the shelling of Jewish settlements by Shiite Hezbollah militias.
The drone strikes killed at least four civilians, with the possibility of an increase in the number of casualties due to reports of missiles hitting residential buildings.
Israeli UAVs targeted Shiite militant bases near Beit Lif, Zibqine, Yater, Beit Yahoun, and Ayta ash Shab, as reported by the Al Nashra news portal.
Israeli army artillery also fired on Lebanese territory, hitting villages such as Aitaroun, Deir Siriane, Alma, and Labbouneh. The Lebanese Red Cross Society reported a total of 19 civilian being killed from Israeli shelling and raids over the past 48 hours.
