Russia and Saudi Arabia cannot yet reach a consensus on reducing oil production, RIA Novosti reports with reference to a source familiar with the preparation of the meeting by the OPEC Secretariat.

"There is no consensus between the main countries of the format, we are talking about Russia and Saudi Arabia, on reducing oil production. Most likely, everything will be decided on the day of the meeting. It is still difficult to predict the results, " the agency quoted the source as saying.

Russia will participate in the OPEC+ meeting, which is scheduled for April 9, in the format of a video conference. The main topic of discussion will be the possibility of reducing oil production, prices for which have fallen significantly in recent weeks.
