The inauguration of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan will take place on June 2 or 6, to be followed by announcing the new cabinet of ministers, the Milliyet newspaper reported on Tuesday.
According to the newspaper, the final results of the presidential and parliamentary elections will be announced on Tuesday by the Higher Election Commission. Members of the 28th legislature will be sworn in on Friday, June 2, and a five-day process will begin to determine candidates for the chairmanship of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT, the parliament).
The inauguration will take place either June 2 or June 6. On the same day, Erdogan will announce the names of the ministers who will make up his government.
Earlier it was reported that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu and National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar could retain their positions in Erdogan's new cabinet.
