Russian Senator Frants Klintsevich has said that the U.S. actions towards Iran's nuclear program can potentially destroy strategic stability in the Middle East region and the world at large.
"I'm afraid that the United States may not like this action of Iran, and will take steps to encourage Iran for further intensification of its work on the nuclear program. The U.S. hostile actions can cause tension in the region", - stressed the Member of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security.
The Iranian authorities said that Iran will enrich uranium at the level higher than was set in the 2015 agreement.
Donald Trump withdrew the U.S. from the 2015 nuclear deal in May 2018 and introduced harsh sanctions against Iran.
In response to this, Iran increased enrichment from the agreed level set by the joint comprehensive plan of action (nuclear deal).
