US President Donald Trump aims to improve relations with Russia. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo claimed about this in Sochi before meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
It is known that today in Sochi, a meeting of the Heads of Diplomacy of the two states is taking place. On the eve of his visit to Russia in his microblog on Twitter the Head of the State Department wrote that his task at a meeting with the Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry is to “find the way forward”.
"On some issues we can come to an agreement, on others - not, but when it comes to our interests, it is our duty to find the way forward", Pompeo texted.
During the negotiations, Diplomats intend to discuss the most pressing issues on the international agenda, including Syria, Ukraine, the Iranian nuclear deal, as well as relations between Russia and the United States.
