Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov received members of the People's Council of Syria Faisal Azouz and Hussein Ragheb al-Hussein, as well as Secretary-General of the Syrian National Youth Party for Justice and Development Berwyn Ibrahim, Secretary-General of the People’s Party Sheikh Nawaf Al-Melhem, the member of Syrian Social Nationalist Party Tarek Ahmed, chairman of the Nur NGO Muhammed Jalbut and Sadek Abu-Amir as a representative of civil society.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during the conversation the parties discussed the political settlement in Syria, including the establishment of the Constitutional Committee in Geneva.
