21 March 2019

Continuing the policy of increasing military-political activity and bringing the military infrastructure of the alliance to borders, NATO violates the principle of indivisibility of security.

About this today, speaking in the Parliament of San Marino, said the Foreign Secretary of Russia.

«It’s no secret that the situation on our common continent remains difficult. We see how the course continues to increase NATO’s military-political activity, bringing the alliance’s military infrastructure closer to the Russian borders. We observe a violation of the principle of the indivisibility of security, despite the fact that the commitments not to strengthen their security at the expense of others were recorded in the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and Russia-NATO Council documents adopted by consensus at the highest level», the Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in particular, noted, who these days is in San Marino with an official visit.
