President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said during talks in Tashkent with the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly Galina Karelova that he highly evaluates the level of Uzbekistan-Russia relations of strategic partnership and alliance, the press service of the Uzbek MFA reported on Thursday.
"The head of our state noted with special satisfaction the highest level of Uzbekistan-Russia relations of strategic partnership and cooperation achieved in recent years, the dynamic development of multifaceted cooperation," the statement said.
According to the press service, Karelova is heading the Russian delegation at the 14th summit of women leaders of parliaments of the inter-parliamentary union member states held in Tashkent.
