Uzbekistan and Russia are experiencing active development in their relations, with progress evident across all areas of cooperation. President of the Republic, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, made this statement during a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
"Our bilateral relations have reached a significant milestone, evolving into a comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance. Over the recent years, we have accomplished much, thanks to the strong political will of both President Vladimir Putin and myself. Progress can be seen across all areas of our cooperation," he stated.
Mirziyoyev, during his official visit to Russia following his re-election as the head of state, expressed the richness of the program for this visit.
He acknowledged that while the countries have achieved a great deal in their relationship, there is still significant untapped potential.
Mirziyoyev emphasized the need for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia in these challenging times, underlining their serious commitment to collaboration. He pointed out that there are already numerous areas of cooperation between Moscow and Tashkent that have yielded positive results.
