Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed by telephone Russia's participation in the post-conflict reconstruction process of Nagorno-Karabakh, the press service of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers reports.
"The heads of government discussed the prospects for developing Russian-Armenian trade and economic cooperation. Special attention was paid to Russia's participation in the process of post-conflict reconstruction of Nagorno-Karabakh, including the settlement of the refugee problem and transport communication in the region," the press service said.
Mishustin and Pashinyan also touched upon the topic of joint work in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union during a telephone conversation, the government added.
Earlier on Monday, the press service of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers informed that during the telephone conversation, Pashinyan and Mishustin discussed a number of issues related to the allied agenda of the two countries.
On November 21, during a meeting with members of the inter-ministerial delegation of the Russian Federation in Yerevan, Pashinyan said that Yerevan and Moscow have common views on the strategic future.
