Mishustin arrived in Nur-Sultan

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin arrived on Thursday on a two-day working visit to Kazakhstan. In Nur-Sultan, he will take part in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which will be held in a small and extended format.


According to the press service of the Russian government, the meeting of the intergovernmental council will discuss topical problems of deepening integration within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). Special attention will be paid to cooperation in customs regulations, traceability mechanism and macroeconomic situation in the EEU.


The meeting will also consider cooperation in the industrial sector, primarily in the field of civil aircraft construction. In particular, it is planned to adopt a plan of measures to expand industrial cooperation in the field of civil aircraft in member states of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2022-2023.


As a result, it is planned to sign decisions of the EEU Intergovernmental Council, which provide for further development of economic integration.
