Development of cooperation with the countries of Asia, Latin America and Africa will make it possible to promote goods of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) states to the world markets, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said, speaking Friday at an enlarged meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.

"Taking into account the reorientation of logistics chains and routes, we stand for constructive cooperation with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa. It is important to use the existing experience in interaction with China, Egypt, India, Iran, as well as regional associations, such as the SCO and ASEAN," said the head of the Russian government.

He expressed confidence that this approach will provide the necessary conditions to promote the goods of the EEU member countries in the world markets and strengthen the association's authority in the international arena.

According to Mishustin, cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Union with the CIS partners remains a key aspect. "They are our closest neighbors, friends and allies," said the prime minister.

He concluded that trust and mutual respect that bind the states of the "five" allow to work effectively to solve the most complex problems even in conditions of unprecedented sanctions restrictions.
