Mishustin: Russia and China Are a Stabilizing Force in the Formation of a New World Order

21 August

Russia and China serve as a powerful stabilizing force in the creation of a new world order, according to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. He shared this view while opening the 29th regular meeting of the heads of government from both countries.

“Our comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction are especially crucial as the contours of a new world order are taking shape. In this context, the Russia-China nexus acts as a powerful stabilizing factor, contributing to the growth of both nations' economies and improving the quality of life for our citizens,” Mishustin stated.

While welcoming Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Mishustin expressed confidence that the meeting would be conducted in a traditionally warm and businesslike manner. He also recalled Russian President Vladimir Putin's remarks that the relationship between Russia and China is currently experiencing its best period in history, built on a solid foundation of good-neighborliness, equality, and mutual respect for each other's interests.
