Mishustin to Participate in Innoprom Forum in Astana

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is scheduled to participate in the Innoprom Kazakhstan international industrial exhibition. During the event, the Russian prime minister, alongside his counterparts from Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan, will tour the exhibition, visiting national stands dedicated to various industries, including machine building, shipbuilding, machine tool building, chemical, metallurgical, textile, and aviation industries.

 

The Russian exposition will feature collective stands representing regions and governments such as Novgorod Oblast, the Moscow government, the Government of St. Petersburg, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Udmurt Republic, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Orenburg Oblast,  Chelyabinsk Oblast,  Krasnoyarsk Krai, the Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as a stand showcasing innovative and industrial projects from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.

 

About Innoprom Kazakhstan

 

Innoprom Kazakhstan is set to be a significant event, featuring 177 Russian companies representing various business sizes, from large enterprises to small businesses. The exhibition will take place in Astana from September 25 to 27. It marks the first time Innoprom is held in Kazakhstan, with its primary goal being the establishment of partnerships and support for businesses.

 

A vital aspect of the event is the educational program titled "New Talents for a New Industry," aimed at students and young professionals. This program has been developed collaboratively by educational institutions and industrial companies in both Kazakhstan and Russia.

 

The main session of Innoprom Kazakhstan is expected to draw the participation of the heads of government from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan, as well as leaders of business associations and manufacturing firms. Approximately 10,000 attendees from 20 different countries are anticipated. The event will focus on strengthening ties within the Eurasian Economic Union and enhancing Kazakhstan's investment attractiveness. The exhibition, which spans over 12,000 square meters, will feature thematic sections dedicated to aviation, transportation, power engineering, machine-tool construction, chemical industry, and metallurgy.
