More than 1 200 refugees returned to Syria within 24 hours

More than 1 200 people returned to Syria from Lebanon and Jordan over the past day. This is reported in the newsletter of the Russian Center for reconciliation of the warring parties and the control of the movement of refugees, - writes RIA Novosti.

 

 

Over the past day, 1 286 refugees returned to the SAR from the territories of foreign countries, including from Jordan through the Nasib checkpoint - 1,022 people (women - 307, children - 521), from Lebanon through the checkpoints Jaydet Yabus, Tell - Kalah - 264 people (women - 79, children - 135).

 

 

At the same time, Syrian citizens did not return to their places of permanent residence during the day. According to the center, the engineering units of the SAR daily cleared 2.2 hectares of territories in the provinces of Deraa and Damascus. In addition, specialists destroyed 32 explosive items.
