More than 20 intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements, as well as agreements between companies, will be signed on the sidelines of the Russia – Africa Economic Forum, the Roscongress Foundation, the organizer of the Forum, announced with reference to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Mikhail Bogdanov.
"At least 23 intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements, as well as other agreements between African and Russian companies are expected to be signed on the sidelines of the Forum. The slogan of the Forum is "For peace, security and development", which can form the basis of the final declaration of the Summit, created in cooperation with the participating countries", - the press service of the Roscongress quotes Bogdanov.
The Russia – Africa Summit and Economic Forum will be held in Sochi on October 23-24. The leaders of all 54 countries of the continent were invited to the event. Russian and Egyptian presidents Vladimir Putin and Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will address the plenary session of the forum.
