As part of the Cross Year of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, 215 events are planned in the two countries, Russian Ambassador to the Republic Nikolai Udovichenko told a press conference.
Events, according to him, "will not be focused on culture" - a lot of attention will be paid to trade and economic cooperation.
"For example, the investment forum of Kyrgyzstan and Russia will be held in Issyk-Kul this summer. It is also planned to hold the third Kyrgyz-Russian business forum in Bishkek, and a business mission of Russian pharmaceutical manufacturers to Kyrgyzstan is planned in April", the diplomat said.
As part of these events, business circles in Russia and Kyrgyzstan will have the opportunity to "communicate, sign contracts with an eye to enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries and implementing previously concluded investment agreements".
