More than a dozen countries have asked for Russian help in fighting the coronavirus

Russia has received requests for assistance in the fight against the coronavirus from more than a dozen countries, including Algeria, Egypt, Yemen, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Sudan and Tunisia, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Russian Foreign Ministry.


Commenting on the situation, the Agency's interlocutor pointed out that "all these appeals are currently under consideration in the relevant Russian agencies."


Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 3 million people have been infected with the coronavirus in the world, and more than 210 thousand died.


In Russia, according to the latest data, 99,399 cases of infection were registered, 10,286 people recovered, and 972 died.
