Russia and Turkey are working on the possibility of using rubles in Turkish resorts for Russian tourists, Governor of Antalya province, Munir Karaloglu, told TASS.
"We will be happy if our Russian guests can pay in rubles here as well as our compatriots can pay in lira in Russia but there is no final decision on this issue yet, but there are developments," the official said, in particular.
According to Karaloglu, in 2020 the number of Russian tourists visiting Antalya will increase by 15% and exceed 6 million people.
