Moscow Muslims shared their experience of charity work with Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan foundations

Dagestan hosted an international forum dedicated to charity with the participation of Islamic centers of Russia and Central Asia.

 

Rifat Izmailov,  General Director of the Zakyat Fund said in an interview with RIA Novosti, noting that the Fund has extensive experience in the field of charity, including the experience of international cooperation in this area.

 

 


Izmailov also said that the Muslims of Moscow shared with representatives of the Spiritual Administrations of Muslims of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan the experience of international cooperation with foundations from Lebanon, Syria, Uganda, Indonesia and other countries.

 

 


According to him, this year the Muslims of the Russian capital provided great assistance to these states during Ramadan and after Eid al-Adha.

 

 


"In this case, it is not only about helping the faithful as such. In this case, we are talking about the fact that we represent not only an Islamic center or a Foundation – we represent our country at the international level and demonstrate our solvency and capabilities", - Rifat Izmailov stressed.
