Mufti of Tatarstan met with the King of Saudi Arabia

Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil hazrat Samigullin, who is a member of the Group of Strategic Vision “Russia-Islamic world”, met with the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud during his visit to Mecca.

 

 

The international conference entitled "Values of modesty and moderation in the texts of Quran and Sunna" was organized under the personal control of the King Salman. According to the press-office of Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan, members of foreign delegations participated in this conference were invited to the meeting with a Saudi monarch.

 

 

The conference was held in Mecca from May 22 to 30. The supreme mufties of Lebanon and Egypt, and minister of religious affairs of Pakistan attended the ceremonial opening of the event. The general secretary of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Yousef Al-Othaimeen made a welcoming speech, as well as Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa - general secretary of the Muslim World League.  The head of the Chechen Republic in Russia Ramzan Kadyrov also spoke at the event.

 

 

Mufti of Tatarstan  Kamil hazrat Samigullin met with Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa - the head of the World Islamic League, during the working visit to the Saudi Arabia. They talked about the possibility of holding future session of the Group of Strategic Vision “Russia – Islamic world” together with the Muslim World League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Saudi Arabia.
