Nazarbayev has become the honorary Chairman of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council

The First President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, has become the honorary Chairman of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. This decision, as reported by his press secretary Aydos Ukibay, was made today in a narrow composition at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC).

 


It is known from the current Head of the Republic Qassym-Zhomart Tokayev that Russian President Vladimir Putin had suggested assigning Nazarbayev the title of honorary Chairman of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Community (SEEC) for his historical contribution to the development of EurAsEC.

 

 

Now Russian President Vladimir Putin is taking part in the summit of the Leaders of the association which has taken place in Nur-Sultan.
