Seven people have died and 181 have been wounded during new demonstrations in Sudan on Sunday, SUNA news agency reports with reference to the Minister Suleiman Abdul Jabbar.
According to some reports, snipers opened fire in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum during a protest march injuring civilians and Special Forces soldiers.
The Transitional Military Council has accused The Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC) - the opposition coalition - of taking residents to the streets.
Tensions remain high since the June 3 deadly raid by security forces on a protest camp in central Khartoum. The clashes resulted in several dozen fatalities.
