13 December

The next session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIC) is scheduled to take place in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on January 30-31, 2025,  Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov said during an EIC meeting in Moscow.

“Taking this opportunity, I would like to invite all of you to Almaty on January 30-31, 2025, for our traditional annual events—the next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the Digital Almaty forum,” Bektenov said to the attendees.

He emphasized that the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) continues to grow and solidify its standing as a respected economic organization. “At the same time, we must not rest on our oars. It is essential to fully realize the economic potential of the EAEU,” he stated.

Bektenov urged member states to maintain a systematic and consistent approach to achieving the core objectives outlined in the EAEU framework, all aimed at fostering economic development within the union.
