The 14th round of talks on Syria in the Astana format started in Nur-Sultan yesterday, December 10, and continues today. It is attended by delegations of the guarantor countries-Russia, Iran and Turkey - as well as the government of Syria and the Syrian armed opposition. In addition, the UN delegation headed by Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen participates in the talks as observers.
