His Excellency Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, vehemently denounced the dreadful massacre carried out by the Israeli occupation in the bombing of Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip. This heinous act resulted in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of Palestinians, including women and children. The Secretary-General categorically labeled it as a war crime, a crime against humanity, and a form of organized state terrorism that warrants accountability and punitive measures.
The Secretary-General held the Israeli occupation accountable for the repercussions of its crimes, terrorist actions, and ruthless assaults against the Palestinian people. These actions stand in direct contrast to all principles of humanity and represent a blatant breach of international humanitarian law. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha reiterated his appeal to the international community, with a particular emphasis on the UN Security Council, to immediately intervene in order to halt the war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip and to ensure international protection for the Palestinian people.
