OPEC+ countries to cut oil production by 2 mln bpd starting from November

The OPEC+ deal has been extended until the end of 2023, OPEC+ countries will reduce oil production by 2 million barrels per day (bpd) from November, OPEC said. Meetings of the monitoring committee will be held every two months, while meetings of OPEC+ ministers will be held every six months. The next OPEC+ ministerial meeting will be held on December 4.


OPEC+ will take production quotas for August as the basis for counting production cuts.

 

 

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that OPEC+ ministers had agreed to reduce oil production by 2 million barrels per day (bpd). 


In this case, according to Reuters, the decision to reduce production will be valid from November.


Earlier, the agency said that the OPEC+ monitoring committee supported the reduction of oil production by 2 million bpd.
