The system of inter-ethnic relations built in Tatarstan is one of the examples of successful work in this direction and can be used by the OSCE.
OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Lamberto Zannier said during the meeting with Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin.
"What I see here is a very interesting system of governance, and I see that you have a great recognition, respect and understanding of the value of multiculturalism and represent a space for diversity, for difference in a society, which, as I can see, is very dynamic. I think we see a very interesting laboratory on the example of Tatarstan: we can also learn lessons for ourselves", TASS quotes Zannier.
Today Zannier is in Tatarstan on an official visit.
