The Russian authorities pay considerable attention and put a lot of effort into the work on Nationalities.
OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Lamberto Zannier told during the State Duma Committee on Issues of Nationalities meeting.
He reminded that the Organization established contacts with the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs in 2018.
The Agency, he said, has clearly spelled out scope of activities and responsibilities of each of its members.
"The structure itself is very complex. This shows that the government pays a lot of attention and makes efforts to this area of activity", said Zannier.
The head of the State Duma Committee on Issues of Nationalities Ildar Gilmutdinov, who also attended the meeting, said that multinational relations are being monitored in Russia that makes possible to identify and prevent emerging conflicts on time.
