Over 230 Trucks with Humanitarian Aid Enter Gaza Strip Overnight

22 July

A total of 236 trucks carrying humanitarian aid, along with 7 gasoline trucks and 6 tanks of cooking gas, entered the Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to Al Jazeera, citing the Office for the Coordination of Israeli Government Activities in the Palestinian Territories.

The aid was transferred from Egypt through the Kerem Shalom crossing in southern Gaza.

Humanitarian organizations have accused Israel of restricting the access of aid to the Gaza population, highlighting that it has become increasingly dangerous to distribute aid due to law and order violations in the Strip. Israel, however, asserts that there are no restrictions on the amount of aid that can be delivered to Gaza, but claims that international humanitarian organizations are unable to distribute it effectively. Israeli authorities maintain that the humanitarian supplies are often seized by the Hamas movement.
