Representatives of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society have reported the arrival of more than 4,700 trucks carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip from Egypt over the past two months. The aid, received between October 21 and December 22, primarily includes food, medicines, medical supplies, and drinking water.
Of the total trucks, 3,049 were directly sent to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, while just over 1,700 were allocated to the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and other organizations. All aid deliveries to the Gaza Strip were distributed to local agencies responsible for further dispersing assistance to the residents.
During this period, 60 fully equipped ambulances, over 3.7 million liters of diesel fuel, and almost 1.3 tons of liquefied gas were also transported to the Gaza Strip.
