Pakistan Condemns Israel’s "Increasing Adventurism" in the Middle East

30 September

Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel's "increasing adventurism" in the Middle East, which has reached alarming levels. This statement was made by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and circulated on Sunday.

"Pakistan strongly condemns Israel's growing adventurism in the Middle East. Its unchecked attacks on civilians and disregard for international law have reached a deeply concerning scale," the ministry stated.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry also condemned the "reckless" assassination of Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed on September 27 in an Israeli strike on a southern suburb of Beirut.

"We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims of Israeli aggression and to the people of Lebanon," the release noted. The ministry further called on the United Nations Security Council to restrain Israel and restore peace in the Middle East.

On September 23, Israel launched Operation "Northern Arrows" against Hezbollah forces, carrying out heavy airstrikes on the group’s military positions in Lebanon. The stated goal of the operation is to create safe conditions in the northern border areas of Israel, allowing tens of thousands of displaced residents to return. In one of the strikes on September 27 in Beirut, Nasrallah was killed. The Shia party confirmed his death and vowed to continue resisting Israel.
